Park West School Division recognizes students from our schools who demonstrate their commitment to the values of citizenship through activities such as:
1.    volunteer service to the community (i.e. service to health care facilities, senior citizen groups, shelters, day care centers).
2.    involvement in citizenship or character building organizations.
3.    participation in student government programs or activities.
4.    leadership ability to motivate others to actions to benefit the community.

The Board encourages fellow students, teachers, and community members to nominate individual students or groups which have made a positive impact on their schools, community, and global community.  

 

Park West hosts an annual banquet to honour all of the nominees.  One individual and one group applicant are chosen by the Park West School Division Board of Trustees to represent our division for the Manitoba School Boards Association awards.

Nomination forms are available from the Division Office in late fall.
