BADMINTON Tuesday, April 13th  -  SINGLES Boys are in Hamiota while the girls at in Birtle. Gr. 7  -  Boys           K.L.  -  had a record of 1 win and 2 losses, giving him 3rd in his pool.  He lost in first round of playoffs. D.W.  -  had a record of 2 wins and 1 loss, giving him 2nd in his pool.  He lost in first round of playoffs. Gr. 7  -  Girls L.C.  -  had a record of 1 win and 5 losses and didn't make theplayoffs. Gr. 8  -  Boys J.H.  -  had a record of 2 wins and 1 loss, giving him 2nd in his pool.  He lost in first round of playoffs. C.C.  -  had a record of 0 wins and 3 losses, giving him 4th in his pool.  He lost in first round of playoffs. Gr. 8  -  Girls T.B.  -  had a record of 0 wins and 3 losses and didn't make the playoffs. L.A.  -  had a record of 1 win and 1 loss, giving her 2nd in her pool.  She lost in first round of playoffs. L.P.  -  had a record of 3 wins and 0 losses, giving her 1st in her pool.  In the playoffs, she advanced to the semi-finals but lost then went on to lose in the 3rd place game.  She ended up 4th overall. Tuesday, April 20th  -  DOUBLES Boys were in Strathclair while the girls were in Hamiota Gr. 7  -  Boys           R.C. & B.R. - had a record of 2 wins and 3 losses giving them 4th in their pool.  They moved onto the playoffs but lost in the first quarter final game. K.L. & D.W. - had a record of 1 win and 3 losses giving them 4th in their pool.  They moved onto the playoffs but lost in the first quarter final game. Gr. 7  -  Girls L.C. & D.B. - had a record of 0 wins and 6 losses and didn't make the playoffs Gr. 8  -  Boys J.H. & C.C - had a record of 1 win and 4 losses and didn't make the playoffs Gr. 8  -  Girls J.S. & S.G.  -  had a record of 1 win and 5 losses and didn't make the playoffs R.W. & S.L. - had a record of 1 win and 5 losses and didn't make the playoffs L.P & L.A. - had a record of 3 wins and 2 losses giving them 3rd in their pool.  They moved onto the playoffs but lost the first quarter final game. Thursday, April 22nd  -  MIXED DOUBLES Took place in Birtle Gr. 7 L.C. & K.L. - had a record of 1 win and 4 losses and didn't make the playoffs D.B. & K.F. - had a record of 0 wins and 5 losses and didn't make the playoffs Gr. 8 J.S. & D. W. - had a record of 1 win and 5 losses and didn't make the playoffs S.L. & J.H. - had a record of 1 win and 6 losses and didn't make the playoffs R.W. & C.C. - had a record of 2 wins and 5 losses and didn't make the playoffs L.P. & R.C. - had a record of 3 wins and 3 losses giving them 4th in their pool.  They moved onto the playoffs but lost the first quarter final game. Tuesday, April 27th  -  GRADE 5 & 6 SINGLES Took place in Birtle on April 27th.  This tournament was a double elimination draw, meaning that if the players lost 2 games, they were done.  This is different from the normal round robin match but due to the number of players in each category, it was done to allow as many participants to play as possible. Gr. 5 Girls S.H.  -  had a record of 0 wins and 2 losses K.G.  -  had a record of 2 wins and 2 losses giving her 4th place overall Gr. 5 Boys T.C.  -  had a record of 1 wn and 2 losses D.B.  -  had a record of 4 wins and 2 losses giving him 4th overall K.F.  -  had a record of 5 wins and 2 losses giving him 3rd overall Gr. 6 Girls D.B.  -  had a record of 0 wins and 2 losses L.C.  -  had a record of 1 win and 2 losses Gr. 6 Boys M.G.  -  had a record of 0 wins and 2 losses K.L.  -  had a record of 2 wins and 2 losses CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OUR MINIOTA SCHOOL PARTICIPANTS.  WE HAD A STRONG SHOWING IN ALL CATEGORIES AND REPRESENTED OUR SCHOOL WELL.
